I wish half of our staff could bother to ask how you were, I don't get a bonus this year because we've failed our Mystery Shopper report because staff can't be bothered to interact with customers.
It's a fine line I suppose between politeness and being OTT. My biggest pet peeve is stores offering me their store card and a 20% discount, I hate it, hate it, hate it! In fact now in BHS as I hand my card or cheque over I tell them not to ask, LOL.
