Ramps
So, Mark Ramprakash finally managed to score his hundredth first class hundred yesterday. I'm thrilled for him, I really am. It's just that since scoring his ninety ninth one at the start of May, Surrey have played seven Championship matches home and away. And I went to the first six of them hoping to be there when he reached the milestone. But Leeds was just a match too many, too far away, too difficult to arrange (time off work, booking travel and hotel, cost) so I decided not to go. So of course that's when he did it. So now I feel as disappointed for not being there as I feel pleased for him. And he's quite possibly going to be the last man to reach the landmark!
